Rooted in Tradition, Growing for the Future
For over three decades, R.J. Beham Forest Products has been more than just a business; it's a family legacy carved from the dense woodlands of Western Massachusetts. Founded in 1988 by Robert J. Beham, our operation began with a single portable sawmill and a profound respect for the forest. That respect guides us to this day, ensuring every log we mill and every acre we manage is handled with an eye towards sustainability and the long-term health of the ecosystem. We're not just harvesting timber; we're cultivating a resource.
We believe that responsible forestry is not just a practice, but a promise. Our selective harvesting techniques improve the overall health of the forest, allowing younger, vigorous trees to flourish while removing mature or declining timber. This approach creates a more resilient, diverse habitat for wildlife. By working with nature's cycles, not against them, we can provide premium timber for today's projects while guaranteeing the woods will thrive for generations to come. It's a commitment to the land that's as solid as the oak we mill.
